My sons, Brad and Matthew, have both been enjoying playing baseball.  Matthew is in T-Ball and the rules are so laid back that it is a lot like practicing with another team.  Each boy gets to hit the ball and run one base everytime they are at bat.  Each team gets to score 5 runs every inning.  After the first game, Matthew told me his team won.  I asked him how he knew and he said because his team had the most fun.

Brad is in coach pitch. He is left handed, which makes it harder for the pitchers to pitch to him.  He is also good at playing first base, because he is left handed. I am told that this will be an advantage in later years

Their birthdays are 2 years and 4 days apart.  They will be turning 9 and 7 years old.  We are having a combined birthday party at the natatorium.  I know in later years they will want separate parties.  For now, I am enjoying the years when they are getting along so well.  The time is going so fast.  Brad is half-way to 18.

They are both enjoying cub scouts.  It was fun to go tent camping again.
